I honestly think that Worth is just Worth. He’s human. He might have had a sort of weird past, but nothing too odd. He’s just the gross asshole Tessa made him out do be. He might try to hide his caring for Hanna’s well being, but that’s about it. Just a dirty old doctor in a dirty old office.
Worth is a real victim of alien abduction. But he won’t admit this to anyone, and struggles with the memories of it every night by drinking and distracting himself as much as possible with taking care of Hanna. But some days are worse than most, and Hanna is the only one who has a good idea about what Worth is hiding.
Worth’s sister lost a baby years ago, a still-born. It sent the family into a depression for the longest of time, and Worth took it the hardest after being forced to watch his sister go through that. She always used to talk about what her child would be like. So when Worth met Hanna, the kid reminded him of what could have been… but he will never admit to this.
Taylamont is fucking ridiculous. Yea, sure, it started as a joke, but it's gotten out of proportion. They would not work together, and shipping a real person with a fictional character is creepy and obsessive.
